The Community Center sits a block off HIP Way with the lights on late. It is the neutral ground of Coffy Town — where the town hall meets, where the mutual aid shelves get restocked, where the Community Reels screen, and where a citizen can walk in with a problem and walk out with three neighbors already working on it.
What happens here
- Monthly town hall with the Policy Office and the Elders' Office
- Mutual aid pantry and the Free Box overflow shelves
- Community Reels — citizen screenings and clip nights, now hosted here
- The Voices of Foster Care Public Outreach Office, directed by Jaime James
- Homework tables, tutoring, and Voices of Foster Care circles
- Registry sign-ups and new-citizen orientation
