The Ol’ Skool Movie Theater is Coffy Town’s neon-noir cinema at the edge of town — midnight blue walls, an electric blue marquee, and gold trim, where the city comes alive on screen. Filmmaker Howard McAfee owns and programs the house, curating feature films, specials, and lore clips — from Unspoken Words and Unspoken Words 2 to Wages Against Sin.

Inside Coffy Town, the theater stands as a Legacy Venue for Black independent film: animated posters under the marquee, a velvet-roped lobby, a scrolling reel of clips and trailers, and the Canon Showcase of character intros and trailers.
